Reverse Osmosis

  1. Sediment Filter – Poly filter takes out suspended solids such as dirt, rust, sand, and pipe scale.
  2. Carbon Filter – Activated carbon block filter removes chlorine, bad taste, odors and volatile organic compounds(VOC).
  3. Post Carbon Filter – Additional filtration
  4. Reverse Osmosis – The reverse osmosis membrane removes bacteria, viruses, pesticides and dissolved solids.
  5. Post Filter – After purification the water is stored in the tank. When the faucet is opened, this purified water goes through a granulated activated carbon filter for final polishing.

Water Softening

  1. Hard water fills the water softener.
  2. As the water passes through the resin, the hard water ions are attracted to the resin.
  3. When the water reaches the bottom of the tank, much of the hardness is gone.
  4. To wash off hard water minerals from the resin, brine water is injected into the softener.
